The purpose of this Girl Scout Gold Award is to raise awareness about handcrafted items that can be donated and the organizations that need them. The time and energy put into handcrafted items shows recipients that they matter and are cared about. Handcrafting items for donation is also fun and fulfilling. My Gold Award focuses on making service projects more available to the public and providing people with another way to give back to their communities

Acknowledgments

I would like to thank Dr. Neal Krawetz for mentoring me through this project. Your dedication to teaching, and your patience answering my many questions, has helped me not just learn, but understand the new skills, concepts, and programming languages we explored while making this website. I would also like to thank his parents for crushing his dreams of being a cartoon artist, because it led him to be a coder instead, and for that I am grateful.

Thank you Ethan Fincannon for desiging the website's banner, it looks great!
